Terms of Service1. Acceptance of TermsBy accessing or using Chat Illuminati, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
2. Description of ServicesWe provide hosted Matrix server infrastructure that enables businesses and individuals to deploy and operate their own branded messenger applications. Our services include server setup, configuration, maintenance, and cloud hosting across multiple jurisdictions. The underlying technology is built on the open-source Matrix protocol and the Element client, chosen for their strong security and end-to-end encryption capabilities.
3. Data Storage and InfrastructureYour data is stored on our proprietary servers as well as cloud infrastructure provided by third-party providers across multiple countries. By using our services, you acknowledge and consent to this cross-border data processing. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data regardless of where it is stored.
4. Open Source SoftwareOur services are built in part on open-source software, including the Matrix protocol and Element application. Use of these components is subject to their respective open-source licenses. We make no additional warranties beyond those provided by the upstream projects.
5. Prohibited UsesYou may not use our services for any of the following purposes:
- Sharing pornographic content involving minors under 18 years of age
- Sale or distribution of illegal drugs and their precursors
- Human trafficking
- Contraband of wild animals
- Solicitation, planning, or coordination of murder or assassination
6. EnforcementViolation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities, and legal action where applicable. We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate fully with law enforcement.
In cases where we have reasonable grounds to believe a violation of Section 5 has occurred, we may disclose identifying information — including IP addresses, account metadata, and usage logs — to relevant law enforcement agencies or other authorized authorities, without prior notice to the account holder. By using our services, you expressly consent to such disclosure in the event of a suspected prohibited use.

8. Limitation of LiabilityOur services are provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any downtime, data loss, or security incidents beyond our reasonable control.
9. Changes to These TermsWe reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Jurisdiction and Law Enforcement CooperationWe operate infrastructure across multiple countries and do not designate a single governing jurisdiction for these Terms. Users access our services subject to the laws applicable in their own location and are solely responsible for ensuring their use complies with local regulations.
Notwithstanding the above, we will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities, and regulatory bodies from any jurisdiction in cases involving violations of Section 5. This includes but is not limited to responding to lawful requests, providing relevant user data, and assisting in investigations where prohibited uses are suspected.
